Cambridge South Station
2026

‘Together We’ is a major new public art commission created for Cambridge South Station. Installed in the ticket halls at the station’s east and west entrances, the hand‑painted artwork, an extended, flowing text, occupies the balustrades of the sweeping central stairways, which hold a prominent position above both entrances. The concept of the work centres on the circulation and coming “together” of people, drawing inspiration from circulatory systems in both medicine and transport. This reflects research into Cambridge physician William Harvey, the first known physician to describe the circulatory system in detail. Commissioned by GBR Anglia.
